Standard 144V unit module (S144V7-K111) is a building block module which can be put into parallel and series for higher voltage and power, is in volume production, and units are available for purchase now. The PowerRESPONDER™ product line is a next generation, higher-energy-density, hybrid-supercapacitor. This hybrid cell stores energy in both Faradaic and capacitive modes, making for a higher energy density closer to lead acid battery energy densities, with very fast recharge, like a capacitor. It is much safer than a lithium battery as seen in the safety testing video recordings.

First generation supercapacitor or EDLC cells have a max 2.7 volts but the hybrid-supercapacitors, offered here as PowerRESPONDER products, can have a max of 4.2 volts.
Pulse power delivery and absorption in particular, is most efficient when stored right at the site of demand and the entire rest of system system can be made smaller and more efficient. The PowerRESPONDER supercapacitors have ultrathin and shapeable form factors along with high energy density, opening new applications for this next generation of energy storage devices.
